Designed by the studio of Joaquín Torres, this newly completed contemporary residence is in Los Monteros, an established beachside neighbourhood of Marbella East. The architecture pairs crisp geometric forms with the warmth of traditional Mediterranean building.

Los Monteros has quiet, tree-lined avenues, 24-hour security and direct access to the beach, and the house combines privacy with being close to the coast. Marbella’s historic centre, golf courses and international schools are a short drive away.

The interior covers 850 square metres and is centred on a double-height living room, where floor-to-ceiling glass looks out over the gardens. The kitchen leads into the dining and reception rooms. There is also a private cinema room, a gym, a meditation area and an executive office. An internal lift serves all levels, including the six en-suite bedrooms and a separate staff apartment.

The 50-square-metre master suite is on the upper floor. It has a walk-in wardrobe, a spa-style bathroom with a freestanding bath, and a 25-square-metre terrace facing the Mediterranean Sea.

Outside, the 1,415-square-metre plot is laid out for outdoor living and entertaining. A 120-square-metre swimming pool is the centre of the grounds, with 200 square metres of terracing that includes a deep covered porch and a private 90-square-metre rooftop solarium for use all year.
